Terms of Service

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you provide information about a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or guardian, or otherwise authorized to provide that information and permit its use for the service.

Keep your account information accurate, safeguard your sign-in credentials, and promptly notify your church or RCAY administrator if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts and access to particular features may be managed by church administrators.

Appropriate use

Use RCAY only for its intended family and ministry purposes and within the access provided to your account. You agree not to:

• Access records or features you are not authorized to use.
• Share another person’s information outside the ministry purpose for which it was provided.
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the service, its accounts, or its data.
• Submit information that you do not have permission to share, or knowingly submit false or misleading information.
• Use the service in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

Family and ministry records

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and appropriate for RCAY. Parents and guardians should keep a child’s profile up to date and notify an administrator if information needs correction. Teachers and other ministry workers may use information only as permitted by their assigned role and ministry responsibilities.

Child and family information is entrusted to RCAY for ministry administration. Do not copy, download, photograph, or redistribute it except as authorized and necessary for those responsibilities.

Your content

You retain any rights you have in information and content you submit. You give RCAY permission to store, process, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate the service, provide its features, and support the church’s administration of its ministry. This permission ends when the content is removed, except where a copy must be retained for service operation, legitimate administration, or legal requirements.

Service availability and access

RCAY may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and access may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside its control. Church administrators may update roles or suspend access when needed to manage the service or respond to a violation of these Terms. Where practical, RCAY will aim to provide notice of significant changes.

Privacy

Your use of RCAY is also subject to the Privacy Policy. You should not use the service to submit sensitive information that is not needed for its family or ministry functions.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as RCAY changes. The date above shows when they were most recently revised. If you continue to use the service after revised Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using RCAY and contact your church or RCAY administrator about your account.
